第1節序論 1.1 はじめに 今日における対内直接投資企業は年々増加傾向にある．直接投資は貿易に並び， 国家間の経済活動において重要な要素を占めつつある．特に，海外直接投資の受 け入れ国にとって直接投資は国内経済にプラスの効果があると考えられている ため，国の経済政策の一環として直接投資誘致に力を入れている国も多く，その 効果を実証するような研究がなされている．その一方で，対内直接投資率(対内 直接投資/GDP)は他の先進国の数字に比べ低く(表1)，海外からの否定的な意見も みられる．それに対し，Lawrence(1993)は，「系列が対日直接投資の阻害要因で ある」ということを示した． 対日直接投資の低水準という問題を考える上で通商産業省(現在の経済産業省)は 「外国企業自身が何を対日直接投資の阻害要因と考えるか」の調査結果を示して いる(表2)． 阻害要因の多数は「土地，家賃価格の高さ」となっている．阻害要因の系列に関 しては先の Lawrence(1993)やFrooy, Stein(1991)の研究による「直接投資と為替レ ートの関係」がほとんどを占めており，「土地価格と直接投資の関係」について は直接触れられてはいない．竹森ら(1997)は企業レベルで日本の土地価格と外資 系企業純資産との相関について実証している． 本論文では，対象を土地価格と新規参入件数に注目し，また，外資系企業の新規 参入の約 75%が東京都内であるという事実からその中の東京 23 区内のデータを 用いて分析を行う． 1.2 目的 本論文では，東京にある外資系企業に焦点を当て，各地域内の年別の地価の値と 新規の製造業の進出の有無が新規参入企業数に影響を及ぼすかどうかについて回 帰分析を行う．新規参入を目指す外資系企業に対しどのような要素が強い影響を 与えるかについて考察を行う． 第2節分析の概要 2.1 分析手法 本論文の最大の目的は，東京の地価が新規の外資系企業誘致にプラスの効果が表 れているかどうか確かめることにある．これを最小二乗法による回帰分析を用 いて検証を行う．回帰式は以下のように想定する． Entryij […]
