We live in a world where people are less inclined to live by their values and it is a shame. I
think that values are a set of beliefs that a person acknowledges as a reference.
Additionally, values can be an internal guide for someone’s judgments and actions. The
five most important values to me are: loyalty, passion, health, consistency and efficiency.
They are an integral part of me, as they serve as a guide for me to follow throughout my
life. Although I struggle at times, I still believe that my set of values continue to be an
important factor, whether in my personal life or in a business environment, that I try to
honor.
In order to gain a greater understanding of my values, I will begin to describe them. First, I
think that loyalty is a feeling of faithfulness and devotion. Loyalty to someone depends on
the degree of that relationship to that person. I tend to be faithful or loyal to those who
trust me the most. Second, passion is a feeling of intense affection or excitement. For
example when I am passionate about a cause, I stand my ground and I fight for it no matter
the consequences. Third, good health is a very important to me. Ever since I was a little
girl, I was always taught to live a healthful life. Being healthy means being well in my
mind, body and spirit. For example, I strive to have positive thoughts, a clean diet, and a
stress-free life. Fourth, consistency means applying logic, regularity, fairness and stability
