Discussion Questions for Online/Hybrid Classes
1. Share a favorite tradition with your classmates. Post the steps involved in the
process. You may also research a tradition that interests you and write out the steps
for the process. (LO 7.5)
2. Presidents and heads of states often travel to other countries. In preparation they
are briefed on how to behave so as not to offend individuals from that nation. Do you
think this is a necessary step? What types of processes might visiting dignitaries
need to practice or learn in order to prepare for an international trip? (LO 7.1)
3. As a class, create a process for students who are new to online classes and
coursework. What should they do first? What warnings would you give them? What
helpful information could you provide? (LO 7.5)
4. Post three or four ideas you have for writing about a process. For example, are you
trained in a specific skill? Do you have the perfect recipe for something? Do you
