animals that are not used as food sources by people. Examples are skunks,
opossum, and porcupine. Game fish are fish that are used as food sources for
5. A wildlife habitat is an area where animals live which provides food, water,
space, and cover.
6. Wildlife biologists research and study data on all types of wild animals to
7. Wildlife rehabilitators are individual people who care for wild animals who
8. Many states require that wildlife rehabilitators take a course and exam to
become a licensed rehabilitator. Many wild animals are protected within the
states and housing them is illegal. Due to this fact, government agencies have
been created to oversee wildlife rehabilitators and require them to be licensed.
