1. What does equity mean to you in a relationship? How is this understanding different than equality?
How does this distinction between equality and equity aid in relational maintenance?
2. In what ways do virtual, Pinocchio, and cyber-immigrant relationships mirror your perception and
expectations of face-to-face relationships? How are they different? Better or more equitable?
3. What does your ideal online relationship look like? How do you meet online? Face-to-face? Maintain
that relationship?
4. What type of advice do you think is most important to consider with someone who wants to maintain
a relationship? How might your advice change or be the same based on the type of relationship
(friendship, romantic, long distance, proximal, friends with benefits) that people wish to maintain?
