Students will create their own graphic organizer for specific parts of the chapter.
Have students pair up and assign each a role of the SLP/Classroom teacher and the student. Have
them role play the different facilitative language strategies: focus contrast, modeling, event casts,
open questions, expansions, recasts, redirects and prompted initiations.
