Have students prepare mock interviews for each other and have them highlight their strengths in
the interview process.
Students can discuss why a student who is not eligible for services under IDEA may have
disabilities that are covered under Section 504.
Have students visit their favorite restaurant and take the ADA into consideration. Students
should respond to the following questions: Do you observe this place of business to be compliant
with the law (ramps, height of doorknobs, mirrors, sinks, paper towel dispensers, wheelchair
accessible within the restaurant, etc.)? To the letter of the law? To the spirit of the law?
