ANALYZE (20 min)
Read the definitions of the vocabulary terms in the text. Ask them to spell and

PLAY (20 min)
Have students make flash cards to use in a Password game using the bones of the
body. On the back of each card, list the major function of the bone and its location.
Divide the class into groups of four. Have students in each group of four pair off. Each
pair plays against another pair as in the game Password. The student trying to extract
the word only has to give the definition on the card. If the answering student does not

Write out the names of each of the eight pathological conditions and fractures on flash
cards. Have students draw a card and see if they can describe the condition and its
