Overview for Instructors
This document presents a brief overview for instructors on the Powerpoint visuals package that
accompanies the textbook Differential Equations for Engineers: the Essentials, by David V.
Kalbaugh, published by CRC Press in 2017. The visuals, also called slides or viewgraphs, were
those used by the author in his classes on Differential Equations for Engineers at the University
of Maryland Eastern Shore, after many semesters of development and refinement. They were the
basis for the text and parallel closely the chapters in the text. We provide the visuals for
instructors to use in their entirety, in part or not at all as they use the textbook.
