2) Discuss UCD team management strategies
a) You could be leading a team of fellow designers, technical experts, or ad hoc personnel
b) You are the one responsible for fostering a productive team culture that allows for the
successful delivery of the product
c) Put it in a Plan
i) Develop a plan for how youre going to get from development to use
ii) Determine:
(1) What resources do we need to complete the product design? People? Tools? Money?
iii) Consider project management tools (i.e. Gantt charts that list key deliverables and
graphical representation of when each deliverable will be achieved within the project
timeline)
d) Put on a show
i) Dont let your team work in isolation
ii) Let everyone know what your team is doing (pending proprietary or legal restrictions)
