with a substance use disorder vs. a similar client who is single and lives alone? How
might a problem list differ?
2. Why is it necessary to include the client in the treatment planning process?
3. What important factors do you need to keep in mind when developing goals, objectives,
and interventions in regards to a client’s stage of motivation?
4. Why is it important to address discharge and continuing care planning during the
discussion of the initial treatment plan?
5. How might a treatment plan differ for an adolescent?
6. Not all treatment programs have a clinical team inclusive of a dietician or physician.
