Course–Long Project Suggestions
1. 10- to 15-page research paper based on one of the leadership approaches
studied or another leadership topic that interests the student.
3. Service learning project, where students practice their leadership skills while
giving back to the community.
4. Coaching assignment: Students develop and execute a plan for teaching
leadership skills to a group on campus or community group.
6. Class wiki or blog.
8. Weekly journal assignments comprised of one- to two-page reflections.
9. Capstone paper that distills students’ beliefs and learning about leadership.
