Change Challenge Case
To transfer the learning of the classroom into the workplace, please identify a Change Challenge
you are facing in your own job. This challenge could be:
1. A change or innovation you would like to implement.
Select something that is sufficiently challenging, and as yet resolved, as you will be working on
it throughout the semester.
PLEASE TYPE a one page, double-spaced description about that Challenge. You should
include:
• Description of the challenge.
• A list of people and their roles (please disguise the names of people).
• Future goals pertaining to that challenge.
In an effort to gather ideas and strategies, you will share your Challenge in several ways
throughout the program:
• In week one, you will make a presentation introducing your challenge to your classmates.
The purpose is for you to link what you are learning from the curriculum, and from each other,
and create a course of action that you can embark on upon at work.
The typed case will be distributed to your Strategizing Group. As stated earlier, please change
the names of those involved for confidentiality purposes.
