Chapter Overview
The process industries use many types of auxiliary equipment. The term auxiliary refers
to items that act in a supporting capacity. In this chapter you will describe the purpose,
types, components, and operations of common auxiliary equipment. As a process
technician, you will identify hazards, and describe your role in the use of auxiliary
equipment.
Class Preparation Checklist
