Desktop computers, laptops (also called notebook computers), and handhelds are all popular both for
personal and business use. The main differences between desktop computers and laptops are their size and
portability, their motherboard, and their human-computer interface. A desktop computer comes with a separate
keyboard and monitor, and is larger than a portable laptop computer. Laptops have integrated monitors and
keyboards, and often have a touch pad. As for the differences in the motherboard, a desktop computer has
