segregation in the U.S.? What are some strategies for addressing problems related to housing
segregation? What are some of the implications of housing segregation for community
development?
3. Discuss the basic elements of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and evaluate the
effectiveness of community efforts to remedy the lack of credit in poor and minority
communities. Assess the effectiveness of this act on promoting affordable housing and reducing
racial segregation.
