1. The stockholders of a corporation are agents of the corporation empowered to act for the
firm.
2. Callable preferred stock is the stock of another firm that a corporation has purchased as an
investment.
3. The conversion ratio is the number of shares of common stock for which a share of
convertible preferred stock may be exchanged.
