You’re Not Seeing the Entire Picture
The author of the book, Changing Lenses, by Howard Zehr says, “One of the lessons I
have learned is how profoundly the lens I look through affects the outcome.” (pg. 19) This quote
is the main quote that Zehr keeps referring back to in the rest of the chapters in his book. Zehr is
speaking to the general public, but especially those who take part in court cases involving crimes
and victims. The entire book is related to people who are involved in these crimes and what they
go through. Each of the chapters are told and give details about how the person feels and what
