“If you can dream it you can do it”, this is a very commonly used quote used to motivate
someone to achieve their goals, some people may think that this quote is false, but I believe it is
100% true. If you put yourself in a positive state of mind, and you want something bad enough
you will attain it. Think about all those fitness stars, some of them had some obstacles down the
road, but they only had one thing in their mind, achieving their goals. No matter what hit them,
they always got back up and persevered, they were dedicated, and worked extremely hard to get
to the place they are now. I believe that through sheer determination and hard work, we as
human can achieve anything.
I know that lots of people would disagree with this statement, nut I wouldn’t make this
statement, had I not witnessed it become true. I’m not originally from this country, I come from a
very poor country called Venezuela, and we lived a pretty good life until the government began

siblings. There were days where they seemed off, but they were dedicated to get move to the
U.S, no matter how many tmes the government tried to shut the factory down, my parents fought
to keep it open to give their children a better life. I’ll never forget the day when they told us that
we were moving to the U.S, as my dad put it it was a golden ticket, an opportunity of a lifetime.
That’s what I used to see, but when I think back on it now there wasn’t a day where my parents
would rest, their goal was to give their kids a future to dream about, and that could not be done in
Venezuela.
When we moved to the U.S we faced even greater challenges, we had built our whole
lives back in Venezuela and now we had to start from scratch. This didn’t stop my parents, they
