The first stage in writing my essay was deciding which belief I wanted to discuss. I had a choice of two
options. I went to the writing center with both of my beliefs. Ms. Amanda and I came to the conclusion
that believing “Self-love is the best love” would help me write a better essay. We decided on this belief
because I provided her with several examples of self-love. My second idea was that “music is the world’s
spoken soul“, but I could not provide enough evidence to back it up. We next devised a plan and drafted
the content of each paragraph and how to set it up. I accepted the advice provided to me and met with
Ms. Amanda on many occasions in order to seek her assistance. I also went to the Study Table and
received assistance from my professor in making sure my paper was going in the right direction.
Proper nouns and dialogue were incorporated in my essay, as instructed by the professor. There are few
sensory elements in this essay. I did not find many locations in my article where I could explain things
like how things looked or smelled, which is why I did not include many sensory elements.
I would like to hear your thoughts on how I may improve my word choice in addition to general input. I
understand how important words are in making a document appear more elevated and professional. In
my paper, I tried hard to make it sound more personal and heartfelt while simultaneously attempting to
sound as professional as possible by using specific terms.
