The Important of Empathy in Relationship
Have you ever read a story or seen a movie where you couldn’t “get into” the main
characters? The plot may be interesting and you really like it, but if you don’t have any
empathy for the main characters, you will never “get into” their world and further “get into”
people surrounding you. In a new item on VnExpress, a girl called Huyen posted a letter to
express feelings about her boyfriend’s behaviors. She mentioned an event when they go to
market, her boyfriend paid for fish and told her to pay for vegetables. She asked him the
reason and here is his answer: “If I paid for all, then how could I save money?” Another time
when she suggested going out on holiday, she said that he cared too much about the money
they would spend on this holiday, not the place they would go. The girl told that she did not
need her boyfriend to support her with finance but he must be able or willing to do that.
