Chad and Robert from radio lab begin to discuss the value of everything, which includes
talking about the value of nature. They state that people believe that ecosystems are just there
looking pretty not doing anything important for the planet when in reality they are doing things
for nature in which individuals would have trouble doing. Individuals of the world would have to
find a way of completing those tasks artificially that won’t be free. The decision of whether
nature does have value or human beings have more value is to be determined.
Chad used the example of Cotton farms in Southern Texas. These farmers are planting
and collecting their cotton meanwhile there are animals such as bats flying all around the farms
