Owning a small business can be very lucrative (Mijovic 230) . Although there are many
benefits to owning a small business such as certain levels of independence, opportunities, and
control, there are also some negative aspects such as time investments, financial investments, and
advertising that you should not overlook when deciding whether you should own and operate a
small business.
