Work as a Human Value
Since the existence of human civilization, it has been like our existence that we have to
act to survive. What this law known in our modern society work is defined as: "activity involving
mental or physical effort done to achieve a purpose or result" (Google). The need to work gives
human civilization a deeper meaning of life as it projects the essence of existence for the fact that
we need to take action. It starts from our ancestors who had to hunt which required them to look
for their prey and kill them, which can also be translated to work. It leads to us now to do
physical or mental activities to have food on our table. Work is not a duty it is a way of life that
