Women’s Rights in India
The discrimination of women in India occurs all the time and it has been like this for a
long time. The cultural construction of India reinforces poor ideas toward woman. As a result,
men have become the immediate preferred children, and women are taken advantage of in many
aspects of their lives. The discrimination of women in the United States does not nearly compare
to the discrimination of Indian women. Women’s social status in India has always been very low
