My crazy use to be soccer life
I started soccer when I was 3, it was the best part of my life, the thing I could just work on and
know I am getting better at something. There was always a feeling I would have before a game.
It was just happiness I haven’t felt in a while. It was something my mom could watch and just
smile because she knew this was my thing. There was always something there from the age of 3
to 18. I could know who I was there for a bit. I was learning to push when things would get hard,
soccer isn’t just soccer for me. My family sacrificed so much for me to play it as something I
loved and wanted to be the best at it. It was not the easiest thing for a kid because sometimes I’d
miss friends’ birthday parties or just something that was going on during the weekend so I had to
learn how to be ok with missing the fun. When I got to high school it was harder for me because
I wanted to be with friends and instead I would be at soccer practices or games. Growing up like
