“Will Social Security survive into the 21st century?”
Social security insurance is the assistance provided to retired workers and some insured
spouses and minors. Not only that, but social security insurance also extends their benefits to the
needy and disabled that meet certain requirements. Social security insurance is paid for by tax
payers and the federal government, and is not affected by inflation. With that being said,
economists have their opinions as to how long social security insurance will last.
