Why Undergraduate Students Should Study Management
Whether you own your own business or are part of a large corporation, management is
something you will come into contact with every day at your job. If youare a top manager or a
general manager, a sound background in the study of management will give you tools you need
to be the most efficient manager you can be.
To understand why it is so important for undergraduate students to study management,
we must first look at the history of management. There have been many studies of importance
completed over the years in the area of management, especially in the behavioral and human
resource approach to management. According to the text book Management, these include the
