A Glance into Greek Reflection
On August 27, 2017, just a few days after arriving at mason, I attended “Glance in to
Greek” at about 12:00 P.M, which took place on North Plaza. This event was sponsored by all
the fraternities and sororities recognized by Mason, putting this event under the “student
organization” category.
I enjoyed this event much more then I have previously thought I would. I admired how
social and well-spoken all the representatives to these organizations were, and how much
knowledge, wisdom, and advice they possessed not only about Greek Life, but about college,
how to be a successful student, and how to thrive at Mason. I enjoyed the close bond these
organizations shared with other members and I craved this bond and sense of achievement
greatly.
Going to this event was very helpful in my transition to college in many aspects. It helped
me meet several new people which is very essential to thriving because human interaction is a
very crucial part to life. Meeting new people allowed me to come out of my shell and motivated
people.
