Why it is important to follow direct orders?
Within this essay I will discuss the importance of obeying a lawful order
and performance of that order in a time period given. I will also discuss the Non
Commissioned Officer support channel.
An order is an action or a task that is given to a Soldier to execute in a
proficient manner and performed within a certain period of time. Following orders
in the military constructs the army to be managed in arrange and cohesive
conditions.
Soldier must follow orders for effective combat. If Soldiers do not follow
orders during combat, it can jeopardize their life or the chances of winning the
war. Soldiers should stop to think and use the right judgment about not obeying
the orders and how it would affect themselves and or their subordinates. During
combat or training, orders are given to support the mission in accomplishing with
success.
Soldiers should obey orders given to flourish discipline. Following orders
as a Non Commissioned Officer, characterizes good leadership to other
subordinates. Following orders as a Non Commissioned Officer, demonstrates
courtesy for leaders within the chain of command. When a Non Commissioned
Officer or Enlisted Soldiers do not obey orders, the effect causes the mission to
fail or weaken. Especially when a lawful order is not executed within the timely
manner, the mission will disappoint and or the Soldier may encounter Uniform
