Why College Education Is Important to Me
Gaining a college education is very important to me. By gaining a college education I will
be able to get a job I enjoy. I will be better able to provide for my family. I will also be able to
set a good example for my daughter to follow. To do any of this requires however that I achieve
a college education and be able to get a job I enjoy.

Lieutenant for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. My current job does not require a
Bachelor’s degree and I do not always enjoy working where I work. Many of the jobs I am
interested in and believe I would enjoy, require a Bachelor’s degree. I do not currently have a
Bachelor’s degree, therefore I am working in this job until I have a Bachelor’s degree. I have
aspirations of being a “CEO” of a company, being a High School teacher, and even a Financial
