Why is Community Service Important?
The first question is what is community service? Community service is an activity you do
out of the kindness of your heart for the good of your community. In my opinion community
service is a necessary thing for everyone to do because every community always needs work and
without people willing to help the communities would be lacking. There are many different
reasons as to why community service is important that include help others in need, help a
community after a catastrophic event, and you can make new friends.
This past year really opened my eyes to how important volunteering your time in the
company can have a lasting impact. The church I attended got involved with the Eastern Food
Bank and we participated in handing out food packages to those in need during the pandemic.
Many members of the church were older and lifting the boxes was difficult, my family spent
