Why am I Here?: Goals, Mission and Vocaon
I am at Wittenberg University for a few reasons. One, I am here to get a well-rounded
education at a liberal arts school. This was a huge decider especially for my parents. They loved
what Witt had to offer and knew it would make me a more well-rounded person. The second
reason is that I came here to play volleyball. I started playing volleyball freshman year of high
school and fell in love with it. I didn’t want to stop playing volleyball so when I started getting
recruited by multiple schools, but most importantly by Witt, then I knew that was where I wanted
to go. The final thing was the price. Originally, the price was extremely expensive and
unaffordable. After my first visit, I turned to my mom and told her, “This is where I want to go, I
love it,” and she looked at me and said, “No way! It is way too expensive!” She listened to me
