Since Serial starts to air, gain nationwide popularity, 5 million people download to listen
and trace a bizarre case which is controversy and most listeners think the murder was wrongfully
accused. At same time, this podcast recruits a lot of blackish also. From “shamelessly
explitative,” to “ trawling through a grieving family’s pain as a form of entertainment.” (Silman)
Sarah Koenig presides this serial podcast, she is a reporter for the Baltimore Sun for she “had
written about a well-known defense attorney in Baltimore who’d been disbarred for mishandling
money. The attorney was the same person who defended Adnan, her last major trial, in fact.”
