I. Summary
In her article, “When Your Tween Wants to Conform to the VSCO Girl Trend”, Jackie
Ashton explains the importance of recognizing your child’s need to fit in, but also teaching them
to think for themselves. Ashton discusses the popular “VSCO Girl” trend and how young girls
right now are trying to fit the part. By reaching out to experts on the subject such as Rachel
Simmons, Ashton learns that it is normal phase and is important in finding out who a child is. By
