When the Benefit Is Greater Than the Risk
Vince Lombardi once said, “Football is like life. It requires perseverance, self-denial,
hard work, sacrifice, dedication, and respect for authority.”. I think what he meant by this is that
the sport of football is so much more than just football. Youth football provides both physical
and mental benefits. Football teaches kids self-discipline, perseverance, self-improvement, how
to work hard for something, and lessons that these kids can use for the rest of their life. Children
should be allowed to play football regardless of the risk of the risks of possible brain injury
