What makes a person successful? There are lots of ways to define a ‘successful
person’ in today’s world. Money, Fame and power isn’t the only way to define a
successful person, but a person who is admired and looked up by peoples of
today are most successful. They are an inspiration to people today. We will
introduce few people who are an inspiration to today’s generations.
Mar Win is well known as a successful person of today. He was
under – educated, came from a poor family and was ugly. Despite all the
objections from his friends, he decided to start a business of his own from
the bottom. Now he is an owner of a largest Internet shopping mall and
the richest man in China. Although Mar Win didn’t have anything high-
education nor capital nothing but ambition to make him a successful
businessman. Mar Win tells us to be ambitious, to never fear failure for it
will become a good lesson and you always have the chance to go for
another try.
He tells us that being ambitious and to pursue your dream regardless of
whatsoever is a key to being successful.
Yoo Jae Seok is one of the beloved celebrities in Korea. His life, however, was not
always on the bright side. He went through hardships before becoming famous. For over
10 years, he didn’t have a fixed program. To make matters worse, he had stage fright.
These factors were not enough to let him down. Though he had to ask his father for
allowance even after he turned 30, Yoo never gave up and fought on until he had finally
reached his dream. Such perseverance is what makes him who he is today; not just a
celebrity figure who appears on television, but more so as a person who deserves a great
deal of respect.
Another characteristic that makes a person successful is self-discipline.
