What is the Issue?
Over the past couple of years Wells Fargo has encountered numerous allegations
regarding their involvement in unethical sales practices and a failure to monitor sales risks. From
the opening of unauthorized checking, savings, credit card and loan accounts to unethical
mortgage loan modifications all of the actions performed by Wells Fargo Employees were direct
results from superior managements’ consistent pressure to exceed sales expectations and
maximize sales incentives.
