Good morning students, faculty and administration, esteemed guests, and
most importantly, good morning National Honor Society members. The National
Honor Society is a group built off of high standards of achievement, not only in the
area of academics or community service, but in character and leadership. The
National Honor Society strives to create enthusiasm for scholarship, promote
leadership, stimulate a desire for service, and develop character in students. These
four pillars are the core of a sound individual, family, and community. Each of these
characteristics is the sum of many individual decisions that embody a positive
attitude backed by purpose. The only way one can achieve their purpose, their goal,
is to take small actions everyday, which later add up to something monumental. I
