I chose one of the earliest photographic processes called, albumen. The albumen printing
process provided photographers with improved detail reproduction, a larger tonal range, and far
more print stability than what had been achieved prior to this process. To generate an
image, albumen printing utilizes the energy of light waves rather than chemical reactions. The
picture in albumen printing, is kept in the coating of albumen on the paper's surface rather than
in the paper itself. Louis Désiré Blanquart-Evrard (1802–1872) established the albumen method
for photographic prints in 1850. He proposed his method to the Académie des Sciences on May
27, 1850, and then later released it in the scientific publication Compte rendus des séances de
