WEEK 1 ASSIGNMENT
1. What was the main argument or topic of the professional resource?
My professional resource that I found on my profession that I am going to school for
is Healthcare Administration. The article I picked for this assignment is
“strengthening health system leadership for better governance: what does it take?”
(Gilson, L., & Agyepong, I. A., 2018). It talks about countries that are under
developed and are trying to get a solid health care structure in place and what it
exactly takes to do that. I understand that every base to a solid health care system is
good solid leadership. Solid leadership is understanding the people that work for you
and using their skills to further be successful in what you are trying to accomplish.
Solid leadership is knowing how the people that work for you can be successful and
in turn make you successful in your field. If you help other around, you with your
management skills you will be successful in the long run.
