Making Dreams Come True – Walt Disney

“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” This is a
quote from a very well known dream catcher. In my eyes Walt Disney was a very
remarkable person. His story impacted me. Walt Disney didn’t come from a
wealthy family he came from a rather poor family; he was one of five children.
Walt Disney made himself who he was with hard work and determination. The
reasons why I believe he is so remarkable is he made his dreams a reality, he
was very creative, and he was very successful.
The first reason why Disney was a remarkable person is he made his
dreams a reality. Walt worked his way up, he literally started from the bottom. In
his early days he was a newspaper boy he would wake up at 3:30 in the morning
and deliver papers by around 6:00 and then hurry home eat some breakfast and
then head off to school. When he was out of school he would spend his free time
drawing cartoons. In his teenage years he enlisted to join the army to participate
in World War I but he was refused for being underage. He then decided to
volunteer for Red Cross and was sent to France and worked as an ambulance
driver. After volunteering for a year Walt started to get his career in place one
step at a time. He obtained a temporary job at Pesmen-Rubin Art Studio for
Christmas season. He created advertisements for magazines, newspapers, and
movie theaters. He got acquainted with a cartoonist at this art studio who’s name
