Disney’s Theme-parks and Financial Statements Affected Extremely by the Pandemic
Disney reported Tuesday that its theme-parks in California and Florida have been hit hard by the
recent pandemic, as it informed of plans to lay-off approximately 28,000 workers, which according to
company reports, represents nearly 13% of the Pre-COVID 19 total workforce of the company which
stood at 223,000. This announcement comes after the state of California made it clear that Disneyland
Resort would likely have to remain closed for the foreseeable future due to Covid-19 concerns. The state
