Case Overview
Rachel Adams started as a researcher at a huge pharmaceutical company. Years after
being in that field, she realized and felt the need to have a research center that is not related to
any pharmaceutical company. In teamwork with other researchers, she launched a new unique
company in the county which is the Independent Center for Clinical Research.
In a period of five years, she become the president and the CEO of the company, and
under her leadership, ICCR considerably increased revenue and profit margins. She aspired to
generate a model research center that will brew a potent credible science along with cost-
effective critical trial. Rachel’s leadership style for being an optimistic, impartial, and undaunted
