The US business that I chose, was Wells Fargo making fake accounts with their
customers name and money. They were having issues with people not wanting to be a part of
their bank anymore, and they were losing a lot of customers because of what was happening. The
company was having problems way before this started happing and there were people who were
working there that thought that this can’t be ok and why hasn’t anyone done anything about this.
The people who spoke out about what they were seeing got fired and were no longer allowed to
work at any more banks thanks to what is called a U5 report. Wells Fargo is no longer a trusted
US bank it has lost all of the peoples trust and they now have to work extra hard at getting that
back.
