Understanding Business Dress for Women
It is said that “you never get a second chance to make a first impression.” A job interview
is a particularly important first impression that almost everyone goes through at some point in
their lives. As such, it is important to understand proper etiquette regarding professional attire for
both the interview and in the workplace. If one were to do a web search for “do’s” and “don’ts”
of proper business attire, they’d be met with a plethora of articles full of tips and tricks. Some of
the most common dilemmas concerning proper business attire include what the best colors are
for the interview, what jewelry and accessories should or shouldn’t be worn, and how to handle
tattoos and piercings.
