The Uber model has been praised as being one of the most unique and game changing
model of the past decade. Uber is an on-demand third party company that uses a mobile
application on both android and IOS to match drivers with passengers and vice versa. The Uber
model or Ubernization are new technologies that has the potential to chop up a broad array of
traditional jobs into discrete tasks that can be assigned to people just when they’re needed,
with wages set by a dynamic measurement of supply and demand all using mobile application
or different form of technology (times). This is very unique in the sense that this model moves
away from traditional business models and moves more towards a model that gives people the
power of being independent laborers, who chooses to work when they please. The Ubernization
model essentially drills into the untapped resource of people who are willing to provide labor
but don’t have the means of doing so effectively or efficiently while also providing an on

Postmates.
Postmates according to the companys’ website “is transforming the way local goods
move around a city by enabling anyone to get any product delivered in under one hour.
Postmates’ revolutionary urban logistics & on-demand delivery pla0orm connects customers

model. Postmates is using an untapped human resource which are individuals who are willing to
provide the service of picking up different items from one place and dropping them o( to
individuals who request them through a mobile app. This is a company that is helping to make
great strides in validating the Ubernization model. They are helping to prove that this is a
service that represent the future and also the embodiment of how technology can help to make
labor more efficient. They are essentially providing jobs to a lot of individuals who are willing to
perform these jobs while also providing an essential service to people who requires it.
Postmates is positioning them self in an industry that is being heralded as the future of
how people will work. Their position is also a very tactical one in the sense that they are
employing a Ubernization model very broadly. Their service essentially allows people to use the
