Plagiarism
As defined by the University of Windsor Senate Bylaw 31, plagiarism is the act of copying,
reproducing or paraphrasing portions of someone else’s published or unpublished material (from
any source, including the internet), without proper acknowledgement. Plagiarism applies to all
intellectual endeavours. Plagiarism or any other form of cheating in tests, examinations or take-
home assignments is an Academic Misconduct. A student found guilty of any form of academic
