When I was a child, I was very excited to get my very first job. My passion was to work at
either a clothing or food store, counting the register with all the money. Also as a child, I
always had “play money” and pretended to be a clerk ringing people up. When I was
finally old enough to work is when something changed in my life. It all began August of
2011, the summer prior to my junior year of high school. I had finally got my dream job,
my passion job. I began to work at “Checkers”. As soon as I got my first job, I realized
reality was settling in and I learned my life would soon change.
Well it all started when my mother and I wanted to eat at checkers. If you don’t know what
checkers is, let me show you. First of all its way better then checkers. They have the best
crunch, salty and pepper tasting, long orange fries. They melt in your mouth, once you take
that very first bite down into the fry. The best item on the menu is the big chicken
sandwich. It has a toasted sourdough bun with a tiny bit of mayo, one fresh red juicy
tomatoe, green crunchy lettuce, orange cheese slice, and most of all the juicy, hot and spicy
