Tourist flow, should be restricted?
Last week, one of the most anticipated Golden Weeks in Chinese eyes came, in
which they could enjoy their vacations for a week-long time on National Day holiday.
Since the holiday began on Tuesday, millions of tourists eagerly crowded into the
same scenic spots so that large crowds and harsh noise were found easily everywhere.
Jiuzhaigou Valley, with its incomparable scenery, becomes the best-known tourist
attraction in China. As reported by the China Daily, thousands of tourists were
stranded in there for several hours on Wednesday. Accordingly, the National Tourism
Administration proposed that local authorities must take effective actions like
restricting tourist flow to avoid similar incidents. However, in my opinion, this policy
could just be a temporary solution and could bring fewer benefits in the future.
